    Hercy Miller Basketball Camp #15 Gave Back to Over a 1000 kids in Nashville, TN.

    Hercy Miller Family Youth Basketball Camp is not just about hoops, it’s about life skills, books, ball and helping the Next Generation. Hercy Miller is only a Freshman at Tenn State University but he’s already giving back to the community. Hercy threw a free Basketball Camp for over 1000 kids in Nashville.

    Robert Covington got a chance to witness freshman hoop star Hercy Miller Tennessee State Freshman Point Guard Camp 15 books and ball life skills, for the local kids in Nashville Tennessee. There were over 1000 kids in attendance as the rules change in the NCAA college hoop stars are getting a chance to utilize their name and likeness. Hercy Miller and his father Master P are doing it in a big way by giving back to the kids in community.

    Hercy Miller says “it’s about the next generation and educating our future. I made this camp for free and I told these kids none of them owe me anything, but if one of them makes it, come back and help the next generation.”

These kids will be able to use what they learn not just in basketball but in life.”

    Master P, Romeo And Rouses Create Convenient Grocery Store For Disabled Seniors At Guste Homes

    The Miller Family have been helping the elderly at Guste Homes for over 21 years. Percy Miller says, “It’s a blessing to have Rouses partner up with us and put fresh produce and foods into our grocery stores in the Senior Facility at Guste Homes.” Guste Homes is an elderly facility where many disabled seniors reside, they are located in a food desert where access to food is difficult. Master P and Romeo are committed to making a difference helping the seniors in the community they grew up in. Percy Miller continues, “We can’t forget about the people who paved the way for us.”


    Millers & Team Hope Make Dreams Come True for Little Girl

    New Orleans Music Family, Master P, Romeo, Cymphonique Miller and Team H.O.P.E. help Make a Local Little Girl’s Dream Come True The story of 6year old Kéani Page Christmas miracle went viral on Christmas Eve, and the entire world became smitten with the lovable youngster, giving her the title “America’s Favorite Little Girl.” All Kéani wanted for Christmas was “a turtle, a tablet PC, and a pair of light-up shoes.” Two weeks before Christmas, Kéani and her ten year old older sister expressed Kéani’s modest wish list in a hand written letter to Santa Claus, addressed it to the North Pole, attached it to a pink and purple helium-filled Princess balloon, and set it adrift in their home town of Lafayette, LA. Ten days later, the girls’ balloon landed 800 miles north, just outside of Santa Claus, IN, where it was retrieved by a local resident who alerted the media, purchased gifts for the girls, and shared their incredible story of love, hope, and child-like wonderment with the world.  READ MORE!


    MASTER P AND TEAM HOP NOLA DECLARES JUNE 29TH “A NATIONAL DAY OF PEACE” for DEQUANTE HOBBS JR.

    Percy Miller aka Master P and Team Hope NOLA is asking communities across America to put down the guns and stop the violence due to the countless killings of innocent kids losing their lives in cities like New Orleans, Chicago, Oakland, Louisville, Detroit just to name a few. Team Hope NOLA is hosting a peace rally at the Master P celebrity basketball game and inviting mother of slain 7-year old Dequante Hobbs Jr. to be a special guest. The celebrity game will be on Thursday, June 29th at Xavier University Convocation Center benefiting New Orleans youth scholarship fund. “When I heard of this horrific tragedy I had to reach out to his family. As a father, I can only imagine what she must be going through,” says Miller. “I wanted to do something special for her, inviting her to New Orleans as my guest during Essence is just a small gesture to try and put a smile on her face. We are calling for peace. We need to send a strong message to communities across America; this senseless violence must stop.” Continued Miller. Dequante Hobbs, of Louisville, Kentucky was shot by a stray bullet while he was in his home. Romeo Miller plans to wear the number seven jersey in memory of Dequante. “It is a complete honor for Romeo to wear seven. Everyone knows my son loved basketball and his favorite number was seven. I am so thankful that Master P and Romeo is bringing awareness to the senseless violence that is killing our innocent children,” said Norment, Dequante’s mother. READ MORE!

    Mentoring Kings New Orleans Native And Hip-Hop Mogul, Percy Miller AKA Master P Channeled His Fearless Spirit Into A Remarkable Youth Charity Foundation Called Team HOPE Founded by philanthropist and businessman Percy Miller, Team HOPE takes at-risk students whom they mentor and equip with the life skills necessary for success. The acronym for H.O.P.E. is Helping Our People Excel, but that hardly does the foundation justice. Through the foundation, the young people are provided with access to resources including job training, scholarships and opportunities. In addition, Master P makes conscious efforts to keep them involved in enriching extra-curricular activities that build on the concept of young teens working together as a team to create better futures for themselves, their communities and their families. Master P has even made the organization a family effort, getting his children involved with helping to give back to the community that raised him. Master P says, “Mentoring Kings is one of the most important awards I have ever received because it’s not about me. It’s about the volunteers on my team and about helping to prepare and equip the next generation for success. This is only the beginning. Together we are stronger. We are empowering every kid to come back and keep the movement going.”

    Percy Miller has built an empire but he and his family never forget about the less fortunate. It’s the 21st year, the Miller family has provided hot meals in the community for the elderly and families. Master P says, “The more we make, the more we give. We love our people in the community. We came along way.     Percy Miller aka Master P’s annual Christmas event was filled with love, joy and thousands of toys for the kids in South Central Los Angeles, CA. Master P says, “This event is so important to me because it’s about inspiring and putting smiles on kids’ faces that one day can be great. I grew up in a poverty stricken community and I made it. I want to give these kids that same hope.” TEAM HOPE!
